Revenge, a 1971 film starring Joan Collins. Like most of Joan's films, this is a bit rubbish. In fact, it's plain nasty, from what I've seen of it so far (two evenings' viewings, and still 20 minutes to go....). Don't recognize most of the actors, but Irish actress Sinead Cusack is of some interest as 'Rosie'. Cusack was the girlfriend of Manchester United football legend George Best at this time. Also worth a look to get a glimpse of early 1970s Britain as well, I suppose.

Rio 2.
The first film was merely mediocre, the sequel is in one word obnoxious.

Sleepy Hollow.
Meh. Not that great, I'm not sure what people like about it.

I just saw Órbita 9 on Netflix. Not a spectacular film but I enjoyed it.

So... what movie did you last watch?..

ME: coming to America.

Also, do you tend to analyse movies as you watch it?. Like even before it starts?
I generally watch horror movies as they have an easy story line to follow!
Is anyone else like this? It just seems weird .. or weird kind of question perhaps! :( :?

Thanks,

Baby D!..

Probably BBC's Blue Planet. I only watch while on an exercycle, and now the real bike is in use. I'd never watch 99% of what's out there.

Yeah. I love that doco and any other David Attenborough documentary!

Nature is beautiful and not well respected imo for the most part.
It's not tarnished and opionionated like people.

His stuff is great in it's own way, and he has to laugh and agree that he shows more sex and violence than any other presenter. The trouble is that it leaves city folk terrified of wild animals, and those reactions are dangerous. They remain prone to hurting them even when they try to help. Real nature can be beautiful, but it is also usually far too boring for cinema, except in Norway.

Spirit Untamed ---it was beautiful but the previews of the cartoon movies to come were horrible/frightening/lurid
Beware of what movies you will bring your children or adult child to see. Spirit Untamed was good. These types always make me cry. They stir up a lot of emotion.

Nobody.

First rate action adventure, shoot-'em-up movie! An unlikely hero with an unlikely past goes up against evil Russian mobsters who threaten his family. Highly recommended. Bill Odenkirk is a first rate actor.

First Cow. A Western about 2 blokes who were secretly milking a very powerful and dangerous rich man's cow behind his back, to make tasty biscuits that they sold for a decent profit. Very authentic-looking historical detail, no gratuitous sex or violence, and I liked the two guys because they were moderately kind, human, intelligent outliers.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that they kind of left it hanging at the end, either that or I was too stupid to figure out what finally happened to the protagonists.

I didn't analyse it as I watched it. As usual I was mainly focussed on following the plot, though with so few characters that wasn't hard for once. Mostly I just enjoyed it.
