Horror/satire where a sentient tire goes on a murder spree. Maybe one of the most insane movies I've ever seen!
I think Rubber might be the strangest movie in our collection. (But I do like it!)

It is at that!

A really good movie! I definitely recommend!

Labyrinth with my dad! He actually ended up watching it despite complaining in the beginning and we both rooted for Jareth :D

Murder On The Orient Express.

A rather convoluted story, but enjoyable.

Last night I watched The Monolith Monsters [1957].
Tagline: "Mammoth skyscrapers of stone thundering across the earth!"
My bride doesn't enjoy 1950s Science Fiction movies as much as I do and she had a lengthy Zoom meeting to attend so it seemed like a good time to watch the film.

I've previously only seen small parts of the film and went in with mildly-low expectations. To my surprise, it was better than I expected! The IMDb 6.4 rating it has and the -- :star: :star: 1/2-- Maltin gave it are respectable.

It has an unusual premise for the era. There were "mammoth skyscrapers of stone" (like small skyscraper-size things) but they did not thunder around--fragments would grow into huge monoliths, fall over and smash into pieces, then the pieces would each repeat the performance. They were not alive, they were "monsters" the same way a large storm or a large wave is a monster.

The science may not have been that good but I liked the film.

P.S. If you find one of the fragments maybe you shouldn't handle it much.

Which version? Murder on the Orient Express has been adapted many times for screen.

The most recent, starring and directed by Kenneth Branaugh.

I first saw that as a kid.

Benchwarmers 2
As bad as it sounds. I enjoyed the sassy goth girl in this. She had a few good one liners. Also her dad is played by the always fun Jon Lovitz.

We just watched The Monster Squad [1987]
Tagline: "You know who to call when you have ghosts. But who do you call when you have monsters?"

Um. OK. My bride seemed to like it more than I did...but she tends to like kid's movies. It was OK.

A very respected Dracula portrayal.
