Your daughter has good taste! Do a lot of the jokes go over her head though? You have to really be an 80's baby to understand some of them.

A few. Such as when Dr. Venture and White are testing the shrink ray on a reluctant Quizboy Billy, shrink his bulbous head, to which he says: "Nice shooting William Burroughs!" I had to explain to her who William Burroughs was, and how he was infamous for shooting his wife sorta accidentally on purpose.

I was watching the second half of a new episode of "What Would You Do?" It was taking place in Mississippi. They had two guys, one white and one black, pretend to be thugs robbing someone's car. They did this experiment once before in NYC, where the black guy was stopped several times but the white guy only once.
I was sure they were going to be just as racially biased if not more so in Mississippi, but people intervened with both guys an equal number of times.

However, it looked like people got more fired up when the pretend thug was black. They showed a bunch of guys in scrubs (dentists) nearby when he started stealing right in front of them, and one of them started attacking him with a patio chair! WWYD had security rushing in before things got really bad, needless to say.

David Duchoveny plays a '60's LA police detective, who in past episodes has dealt with black radicals, and now with the subterranean gay culture. Always in the background is the menacing, yet charismatic figure of Charles Manson.
