The Grinch (2018 version)

I enjoyed that one.

So did my mom, my NT sister, and me. 8)

(However, our mom did not believe that Benedict Cumberbatch was the voice of this new Grinch.)

I thought he did a good job.

Spiderman: No Way Home.

In an attempt to make people forget that Peter Parker is Spiderman, Dr. Strange accidentally causes everyone who knew him as Spiderman to come into their dimension - which means Dr. Octopus, Sandman, the Lizard, Electro, and the Green Goblin. But also the two other Spidermen from other parts of the multiverse. Knowing that sending these villains back would be a death sentence for most of them, Peter instead tries to help them become normal people again. But no good deed goes unpunished.
Very enjoyable movie.

Haven't seen it yet but was very concerned about Phase Four after the disaster that was Eternals. I'm glad to hear it's good.

The BBCode "spoil" tag provides a way to hide spoilers from those who prefer not to read them.

Gemini man
I liked it overall. I seem to remember this film getting a lot of hate when it was released. Like I said I enjoyed it.

It was one of three October 2019 releases we saw in a movie theater on the same day in October 2019. It was: Joker, The Addams Family, then Gemini Man. Retirement is nice; not having had a Pandemic yet made it even nicer.

Only The Addams Family disappointed me, and only because its animation was apparently trying to mimic the original Charles Addams cartoons but with the disconcerting addition of making the characters 3D. They did not look right!

It took awhile before I could get it but Bradleigh's post got me interested, and last night we watched:

The Mitchells vs the Machines [2021]

And it is -FUN!-

This was a FANTASTIC movie. Successfully brought in the whole on screen Spider verse and juggled lots of characters well. It even had a cameo by Dare Devil (Peters blind lawyer) and brought Venom into the MCU. If you haven't seen Wanda Vision and What If you may want to do that before seeing this.
