Last night we watched:

Warm Bodies [2013]
-=-"He's still dead but he's getting warmer"

My bride thought it was boring. I don't, I just thought it was so-so.

Last night, at my bride's suggestion, we watched:

Groundhog Day [1993]
-=-"What would you do if you were stuck in the same day... over and over?
-=-"What-Anything you want and everything your heart desires."

…because it was February 2nd and my bride is a devoted fan of Phil...to the extent that we even visited him once (not on Groundhog Day!).

Absolutely unforgettable, gritty story, hard to watch in places, like I don't particularly like to see women beaten up in films, but that came with the territory.

Exceptional casting too.
Five stars, seriously.

It is a good film

I absolutely concur!

I remember watching it (this may have been when it first started streaming on free streaming apps several years ago) one day and I imagined my late father watching it with me and his opinion is very much the same.

Original Version of him: "A excellent movie! It should have gotten more attention!"

"Present-Day" Version of him: "A masterpiece!"

Original Ghost in the Shell early this morning. I like it.

I was such a nerd back when I was 18 I even bought a CZ-100B .40 cal because Kusanagi uses one (I had an income after all because I wasn't broken then, which is ironic as I made more money than what my special card gives, but that's neither here nor there).

Lol. Your comment made my day! I'll never forget the first time I watched it. The music and the opening scene. I was hooked immediately. I tried to watch the newer ones but the new animation was terrible in my opinion. I did enjoy the live action though, Batou and Aramaki were my favorite in it. If you watched it, what did you think?

-=-"The SAnd this time, it's no marshmallow roast."

I enjoyed it more than she did. Because I stayed awake.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
There was a Hunt for the Wilderpeople marathon on TV, which consisted of 7 back to back showings of the same movie.
It's just as well I like the movie.
The humour is my type of humour.
