What is your opinion, Brother H of H?

It was really good. It's beautifully animated and is probably one of the best animated movies that I've ever seen.

Wouldnt be surprised if it wins an oscar, or several.

The Batman.

Pattison might have been a sucky vampire, but he makes a fantastic Batman! Great performances by everyone: Jeremy Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Cerkis as Alfred, Collin Farrell is unrecognizable as the Penguin, Zoe Kravitz (spelling?) as Cat Woman, and Paul Dano as the Riddler (he's not funny loony like Jim Carrey, but scary loony). Batman is two years into the job trying to save an unsavable Gotham, when the mysterious Riddler begins a terror campaign against the city's corrupt law enforcement and political establishment, leaving Batman wondering if these people don't deserve what's happening to them. Professional thief Selena Kyle, the Cat Woman, is carrying on her own war against the Gotham mob, which turns out to be tied to the very same corruption that had spurred on both Batman and the Riddler. Bruce Wayne learns dark secrets about his own family. Very dark and labyrinthine story. Very recommended. A certain Gotham supervillain appears at the movie's conclusion in Arkham asylum.

Hmm not sure if I have seen that one, but it sounds good so may have to look into it.

As it just came out in the theaters yesterday, you probably haven't. But I highly recommend you do!

If this movie didn't end up on Netflix, then I would certainly taken an opportunity
to try and watch this film.

@ Sir Kraichgauer: I am on my way to a nearby theater to watch The Batman.

Here's hoping I can sit for three hours! 8O

I was able to stand the almost three hours, as the movie was so entertaining. I certainly hope you enjoy it.

The Killers (1946)

The ninth and final item in the 'Film Noir' box set. Stars Burt Lancaster and Ava Gardner in a robbery and double crossing plot that thankfully isn't that difficult to follow. You'll find the usual superlatives and so on in reviews of this, 'quintessential', 'iconic', 'classic', etc, and to be fair, it's a lot better than most of the other Noirs I've seen, but I'd probably give it around 7.5 out of 10.

These films are bloody hard work on the whole. Very dated in their style and content (and this from someone who can't watch anything made in the last 30-40 years), ridiculously complex, confusing, contrived and unlikely plots, too many horrible, boring and and annoying characters, etc.....I did very much like 'Double Indemnity', and both the above film and 'Out Of The Past' were decent efforts, but you'd have to pay me a lot of money to watch any of the others again.

The Hunted

The knife fighting sucks for what it intends to depict (along with other things involving such), but it's just a movie so I won't be too hard on it. I liked it.

Totally agree. All of Miyazaki's movies are amazing.
