Max Manus

It's a realistic, yet thrilling exposition of the wartime career of a Norwegian militant subversive famous for his ability to elude the Nazis.

Could be the best war movie I've seen.

I'll try to find that on Netflix for my son. His special interest is WW2.

I'm a documentary kind of gal. A friend of mine, Tom Shadyac (directed Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, Patch Adams, Bruce and Evan Almighty) recently released a documentary film titled "I Am". Amazingly inspirational. He tells his story of letting go of what society teaches success to be and interviews poets, scientists, neurologists, leaders of sorts to answer the questions "What's wrong with our world and what can we do about it?" I highly suggest it. :D

Jackass 3. Same as the others – stupid as hell but fun. I'll take this over Transformers any day.

My wife and I just watched Insidious while eating dinner this evening. As it was made by the creators of Paranormal Activity, it was actually a pretty decent horror movie with some effective scares. Unfortunately, it'll never be as well known as Paranormal Activity.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
It was good but not as good as I expected. I don't know if it's because of the movie itself or because my expectations were too high.

Midnight in Paris

Hilarious.

I'm not a Woody Allen fan, but this was worth seeing.

I see the previews of this "On Demand" and they're enough to make me want to run for cover.

Sucker Punch - I heard how bad it was in theatres but felt a need to rent it figuring it would at least be some good mindless action but oh no. Pure trash start to finish. I forced myself to finish it in 3 installments over a few days and it was torture.

I am #4 - Surprisingly entertaining. Has a big cheese factor that made it seem like it clearly was going after the Twilight tweeny crowd. None-the-less still entertaining.
