Inception. It was interesting and very clever, but not really a great film. Something lacking. Some kind of charm. Too slick. The format was very strictly 'hollywood'

Need to see.

The other day, I finally saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Unfortunately, it was in 3D.

But overall, very well-done, much better script,
and Leonard Nimoy was awesome as Sentinel Prime.

Even more unfortunately, it was Transformers: Dark of the Moon. :eew:

Why so many people seem to enjoy Michael Bay movies will always be a mystery to me, but to each their own, I suppose.

Usually filmed and edited very poorly, with constant lame jokes added.

I saw Captain America over the weekend. It was really good. One of the best comic book movies.

Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant and Peter Lorre. Very funny dark comedy which probably seemed really dark to audiences back in the Forties. Sort of a long-ago precursor to the (inferior) horror spoofs that have been cranked out in recent years.

Great line by Cary Grant: "Insanity runs in my family. It practically gallops."

I actually saw the play performed live, years ago. It was funnier than hell.

If I ever have the opportunity, I'd love to see a stage performance of it. I'm going to see the Hitchcock spoof The 39 Steps this weekend, and I have high hopes for it to be good.

Resident Evil: Afterlife

Absolutely dire 1/10

And that's being generous.
