Last night we watched:

Dracula II: Ascension [2003]
<=>"The terrifying sequel to Dracula 2000"



Certainly not a great movie but we both found it to be quite tolerable. If you watched Dracula 2000 and want more you'll probably want to watch this movie.

It looked like they killed Dracula at the end of Dracula 2000 but apparently they didn't. Well, he was dead at the end of if it...he's a vampire, he was dead for the whole movie...but... Anyway it turns out he wasn't dead...well, he was dead...he is a vampire... Anyway, he's back! And understandably in a bad mood.

Last night I watched:

The Cocoanuts [1929]
<=>"Paramount's All Talking-Singing Musical Comedy Hit!"
<=+=+>The Marx Brothers' first feature film. When it was done they didn't like it but audiences did.



IMDb puts it well: "During the Florida land boom, The Marx Brothers run a hotel, auction off some land, thwart a jewel robbery, and generally act like themselves."

This movie also asks the famous question: "Why a duck?"

Alien.

The 1979 Scifi/horror classic, which I consider to be the best of the franchise.

Last night we watched two movies:

Dracula III: Legacy [2005]
<=>"You can't fight it. You can't kill it."



Final sequel (so far) to Dracula 2000 and Dracula II: Ascension. More of the same. I thought it could've finished better...both the series of movies and this particular movie.

How much trouble would it've been to have Rutger Hauer's eyes blink open in a post-credit scene?! It could've been done in less than a second.

It is not a sequel of Dracula 2000.

Its current IMDb rating is 2.1. :lol: I thought it could easily have merited at least a 3.1!

We both thought it was junk. We both thought it was fun. We both enjoyed watching it.
