A Scottish Christmas Horror Musical ZomCom.

A very good movie. One of the betterzombiefilms. My favorite  Christma movie!

Definitely recommended!

I'm watching The Bishop's Wife.

The last scene always chokes me up:

I watch lots of Christmas movies this time of year. Some are brilliant, some are rubbish

Ahhh, I love it. We need more movies like it.

I used to have A Holiday Affair saved on my TV box but it got deleted.
I'm searching the TV listings on all the old-movie channels trying to find it again.

Somehow Christmas came too quickly and I didn't prepare these kinds of things.
Normally I start programming Christmas movies to record, back in November.

Edit:
I found Holiday Affair and a whole slew of good movies in the next few days.

- The Holly and the Ivy
- The Man Who Came to Dinner
- Beyond Tomorrow
- It Happened on 5th Avenue
- The Shop Around the Corner
- Blizzard (I LOVE BLIZZARD!)
- White Christmas
- The Bells of St Mary's

They're all set to record.

The Banshees Of Inisherin.

Taking place on a tiny island off the coast of 1923 Ireland, a chronically depressed musician decides he wants to end his friendship with a friend he considers to be mentally dull. It becomes apparent there is something seriously wrong with the musician when, after threatening to cut off his fingers if his ex friend doesn't leave him alone, goes ahead and actually does it.
Enjoyable black comedy.

My son is desperate for me to watch this, along with In Bruges.
He's absolutely obsessed with them.
I'm not interested in either one, but I think I'll have to take the plunge.

I read good reviews for In Bruges and people told me it was good, but I just didn't enjoy it. Would you say The Banshees Of Inisherin is a better film?

Watched Firestarter. Found it boring.

Vivarium (2019 thriller) Woah! What a film! Moral of the story … never go house-hunting with an Alien realtor! 8O

The Holiday (my favourite Christmas film.) Shot just down the road from me in Shere & Godalming, Surrey.

"Moral of the story … never go house-hunting with an Alien realtor!"

That really made me laugh!
Now I have to watch it.
