Just saw Eraserhead. (I tend to put things off for a while :P )

All I can say is that I don't know what to say.

That's pretty much everyone's reaction. I came to think that it was about a fear and loathing of sex, and it's outcome.

I haven't seen Eraserhead, and after suffering through some other David Lynch navel gazing, I'm in no hurry to acquaint myself with it.

It's not really a movie, but I've been watching lots of episodes of the History Channel show The Universe on Netflix streaming. Has anyone noticed how obsessed these guys are with asteroids and comets hitting the Earth?

Episode 212: "Cosmic Collisions"
Episode 218: "Cosmic Apocalypse"
Episode 301: "Deep Space Disasters"
Episode 306: "Deadly Comets and Meteors"
Episode 308: "Stopping Armageddon"
Episode 403: "It Fell From Space"
Episode 406: "10 Ways to Destroy the Earth"
Episode 506: "Asteroid Attack"

Moon with Sam Rockwell - really good

Totally agree. I love Sam Rockwell. He was good in Choke as well.

you should see him in the movie Joshua....really awesome.

Thanks for the recommendation, Simmian7. I'll definitely check it out.

A friend a few days ago brought over The Beaver, staring Mel Gibson. It was actually a pretty good dark comedy. Too bad Gibson doesn't take the movie's advice, and get himself a beaver hand puppet.

I recently purchased Mr. & Mrs. Smith on DVD and watched it. It was completely cheesy and over-the-top, just how I like my action movies. :P

I saw it with a friend who said, "Let's just forget this ever happened."

Sorry! To each his own.

I thought Dennis Hopper and Isabella Rossellini were pretty good, but as for the rest of it, I'll go with...not a favorite. :)

Just saw Conan the Barbarian and absolutely loved it, so I have no idea why the critics on RottenTomatoes are bashing it. Especially ironic are their complaints about the acting, which I thought was just fine; these same critics poured mountains of praise onto Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight even though he stunk. I seldom listen to critics anymore.

I just watched The Adjustment Bureau.

Philip K. Dick was turned into a “love conquers all” romantic drama.

I feel like Hollywood just told me to go f**k myself.

I watched Sucker Punch this morning. It was good. It had most of the elements of a fanboy's dream: hot girls, action, sci-fi, and fantasy. It was visually stunning, but the plot was nonsensical and bizarre. 7/10.

I also watched 10,000 BC. Not bad. 7/10.
