LOL :D That's funny.

And for what it's worth, I think it is a movie. It is a documentary, according to the Internet Movie Database.

Riff Trax: Attack of the Super Monsters (1977-ish)

The Wikipedia says:

Quote:
Dinosaur War Izenborg (恐竜大戦争アイゼンボーグ, Kyōryū Daisensō Aizenbōgu) is a Japanese television program produced by Tsuburaya Productions that aired from 1977 to 1978 on TV Tokyo. It combined Tsuburaya's trademark suitmation tokusatsu techniques with anime. The show ran for 39 episodes.

Wikipedia: Attack of the Super Monsters/Dinosaur War Izenborg

Repeat to yourself (talking to myself), "it was a television show for kids, cut together as a movie."
It is enjoyably weird, but not in a David Lynch type weird. Is it entertaining? Yes, in its weirdness. it was a random selection to watch.

It's more like a 'best of' compilation. They (Don and his son Tim) take footage from the entire previous NHL season and condense it into the best body checks, the best fights, the best goals, etc.

Bob Probert beat someone up.
Darius Kasparaitis flipped someone over his hip.

I got what I paid for.

An excellent film that didn't rely on jump scares and special effects, just primarily synopsis.

A couple of early 'talkie' movies starring Fay Wray, better known for her roles in King Kong and Mystery of the Wax Museum. The films were The Sea God (1930) and The Lawyer's Secret (1932). Both very mediocre, but the former livened up a bit by its South Seas setting. The saving grace of these old films is that they're rarely longer than 60-70 minutes. Fay Wray lived into her mid-90s and made it into the 21st Century.

Thank you. I don't have an issue with jump scares. They are just sometimes used as crutch, a cheap crutch, and I can sometimes, not always, but sometimes spot one coming by the way they set and edit the scene.

Again, thanks. It is playing at the theater near me.

Mission Impossible - Fallout 2018
It’s a Mission Impossible flick action all the way,

Berlin Express 1948
Most notable for being filmed on location in bombed out Frankfort and Berlin.
Film Noir. Americans, British, Russians, and Germans thrown together by chance search for German peace activist kidnapped by remnant Nazis.

Asteroid City.

Sci-Fi comedy. Part play during the 1950's with a look behind the scenes, part straight story of a small western town visited by aliens, then quarantined by the government. I can see why Family Guy had described watching a Wes Anderson movie as watching something while eating pot brownies. Great fun!

Last night I watched:

Neophytes and Neon Lights [2001]

In this future they use teleport machines instead of airplanes...but still have something akin to airports for travelers.

This movie takes place in the Sydney, Australia teleport terminal—so the sets were sparse, uninteresting, and probably very inexpensive. It focuses on some small-time criminals who "work" there. Picking pockets; stealing stuff; selling illegal substances. Oh, and the folk in "Security", for a fee, are not very diligent in dealing with the criminals.

More (boring) talk than (boring) story.

BORING! YAWN A V O I D ! YAWN

The Werewolf And The Yeti.

Yes, this movie is as ridiculously bad as the title implies, and just as impossibly convoluted.

Horror comedy taking place in a 1930's deserted mansion in Britain, where the upper class types decide to hold a drunken seance, which open a gate to.... you guessed it... HELL!! !
