Another Earth. it had a few logical flaws but I still liked it more than most of the films I'd seen this year.

Leading up to Halloween, my wife and I had watched a bad 1940's movie called The Dead Walk on TCM. The dialogue was nothing short of awful, and the acting was over the top when it wasn't wooden. But the one saving grace was that the movie had an underused, late, great Dwight Frye as the hunchback.

The Missus and I went to see 50/50. We almost walked out within the first 5 minutes due to the filthy language used by Seth Rogan. But we stayed and it was a pretty accurate of what it's like to go through a bout of cancer. A bit sugar coated, but with some good moments.

I recently watched Sweeney Todd. I kind of liked it because the gothic setting and dark humor reminded me of those Addams Family movies, but there were parts in the movie that got a little too much for me. I also didn't like the ending because we never got to see what happened to Johannah and Anthony.

That's What I am.

I hated it! and i'm quite excited to say that because i often worry i'm too unopinionated and easy-to-please when it comes to films. boring drivel

I just saw an independent movie called Take Shelter.

This is one hell of a movie, very intense.

I loved Hocus Pocus! Even though I think the concept of the movie was completely offensive to the illogical cruelty of the Salem Witch Trials, the three witches in that movie were hilarious and cool.

I'm watching a movie called Life. Has gone on for 28 years and they say if you have a clean bill of health can go on for another 60 or 70 years. Want to fast forward to the end.

Ha, i watched that the other night.

Most recent movies that ive seen (apart from hocus pocus) have been Taken, coneheads and the color purple, all excellent. Taken is the only one that's new to me.

A little bit of Heaven

So good! going by the cover (yesyes- dont judge a book by its cover) i thought it was gonna be a super cheesy rom-com but it was actually quite unique (although still slightly rom-comy i'll admit). most i've enjoyed a film in ages.

I just watched "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil". Its one of the funniest movies I have ever watched; its a great comedy twist on hill-billy suspense movies like Deliverance.

Nathan Fillion keeps tweeting about this because his friend Alan Tudyk is in it. I can find it anywhere! Is it in cinemas?
