Saw the Minecraft movie last night. I rarely see movies that are about something I'm engaged with in real life, so that was a fun experience. It was fun seeing a realistic portrayal of a video game while they made fun of the things that make sense in the game but not in real life. It reminds me of the South Park episode of World of Warcraft, but with a more complimentary tone. The characters were pretty funny too. I appreciate how Jack Black's characters tend to be extra expressive with emotions, like when he celebrates it's an event.

I saw the movie in 4DX, so the seats moved, we got sprayed with water, and there were odors that went along with the movie. It helped me realize somethings that I will make a separate post about.

Half Dead Fred. It was okay for a B flick.

Last night we watched:

Nosferatu [2024]
<=>"Succumb to the darkness."

I think I also would've preferred watching the 1922 original.

This new version is still quite good, though. It has beautiful photography. But is kind of long. And spends more time looking at the personal dramas then I would prefer.

But the new one is beautiful, and worth trying.

In case you haven't guessed it, if you are looking for some excellent, silly fun...this is recommended!

I just watched this and agree.

This was a crazy silly film. It reminded me of one part looney toon, and one part web game (such as Little Alchemy).

Emphasis on "looney" :D

I thought you'd like it. Do you think others here would also enjoy it?

Oh yes. If realism is not important and fun absurdity is important, definitely yes.
I can imagine some people may not. There is a lot of silly slap stick, and if one does not care for slap stick, maybe no.
The IMDB users that rated it, mostly gave it a it 8 stars, and that is from Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, and United States. The majority ranked it 7 stars or more.
I'm always interest in the people that give a rating of 1 star. I am always interested in reading 1 star reviews on Amazon. 1, and 3 star reviews are interesting to read. Sometimes it says more about the reviewer than the product. It is just interesting.

Dare Devil: Born Again

Season 1
episodes 3 and 4

Not really in the mood to binge watch to catch up. The show can sometimes be brutal in terms of the anger and violence. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to deal with it. :|

Does that mean the Friday that just passed or the final Friday?
