last night I watched The Peanuts Halloween special. I think the best parts were actually where Snoopy is the WW1 Flying Ace getting in a dogfight (no pun intended) with The Red Baron, and then he goes to the gang's Halloween party and has Schroeder play music that gets him all happy one minute and bawling the next.
Near the end of the cartoon, a commercial came on for yet another one of those stupid type 2 diabetes commercials. Linus might still have faith in The Great Pumpkin, but my faith in humanity? Pbbth! 
Oh, and I also watched "You're NOT Elected, Charlie Brown", which was for the first time. Well they got the title right, Charlie wasn't even a candidate. Linus was! It all seemed to go well for him until the second he mentions The Great Pumpkin... 
You'd think a school president who still cuddles a blanket wouldn't be taken seriously enough.
