I think anime fans will like this. It has timeless brilliance.

I love it!

I just got a new Blu-Ray player, surround tuner and a big 720i HDTV. I watched the first three Episodes of Ga Rei Zero with the volume cranked up, and I feel lucky to have survived. I have disks for a few other things, including the Eva Rebuilds. I didn't think that it would make such a huge difference with drawings, but I'm an HD convert.

I am such an idiot; I confused Acchi Kochi with Tatami Galaxy - that's what I get for vaguely remembering an anime by 'the name had something to do with a place'. Urgh...

That aside, just started watching Kaiji on a friend's recommendation - a 2007 Madhouse anime focused exclusively on the art of gambling. It's certainly something very different.

Continuing to watch Kaiba, my heartstrings are getting pulled more and more -- definitely one I'd recommend if you're used to reading between the lines of fairly abstract material.

I have a love-hate relationship with Log Horizon - some episodes are brilliant, whilst others I'm struggling to remain interested in for various reasons (pacing mostly). Then again, it is Shinji Ishihara's directorial debut (previous storyboarded the failed Blue Dragon anime) and Satelight's first serious novel adaptation in a while (Guin Saga of 2009 notwithstanding) so maybe I should give them the benefit of the doubt. I've lasted till episode 12 after all and the story is actually pretty engrossing.

Other than that, totally anticipating Silver Spoon (Gin no Saji) on Thursday night, and Pupa. Oh and Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha (I wish someone'd come up with a shorter English title). My verdict's still out on the recently aired Future Card Buddyfight (I'm only taking an interest because it's the first time there's been a Canadian-English dub of an anime running simultaneously with the Japanese broadcast; Space Dandy doesn't count as Adult Swim aired the Funimation dub just before the Japanese).

Still, January looks to be an interesting month. Can't wait. Also keeping a keen eye out for when Trigger will announce the sequel to Little Witch Academia. YES!

Very strange, yet I could not look away.

In return I give Lets Vegetable!

That did come after the Curry Song.

So it looks like Fridays will busy for me to watch new releases. For continuing from last year I have new episodes from Nagi no Asakura, Kill la Kill, Samurai Flamenco, and Golden Time. The new year has brought Strange+, Silver Spoon 2, Z/X: Ignition, Hoozuki no Reitetsu, Mahou Sensou, Pupa, and Sakura Trick.

Of what is set to be my favourite of these days, most likely Sakura Trick, it is super yuri, not tease it but have it happen in the first episode, like actual kissing and junk. It makes me so happy at the cuteness and all.

A-1 Pictures seem to be a roll lately - This week's Magi: Kingdom of Magic was excellent, as was the welcome return of Silver Spoon. Love Silver Spoon's new OP and ED too. Brilliant having stuff to watch right now.

Mamoru Hosoda's "Wolf Children"
A beautiful if a bit heart-rending movie. Highly recommended.

If an episode has managed to make me feel invested enough in the characters that I get very angry, it is probably succeeding. I like the start of the Titus and Marga thing.

So far my favorite anime this anime season is D-Frag. Moe elements and yuri elements and other amazing elements.

I love anime. I have obsessions different anime series.
I watched different cartoons or anime cartoons when I was younger in one German channel called: "RTL".
Mostly I watched Pokemon and Digimon, as I'm big fan of them still ^^ Not the new ones, thought.
My favourite anime series are: Ghost In The shell, Serial Experiments Lain, Wolf's Rain and Shingeki No Kyojin.
I have obsession to Ghost In the shell and Serial Experiments Lain, they are so damn interesting anime.
Motoko Kusanagi are my favourite anime character of all the time!

I've watched 2 series of Boogiepop Phantom called anime, cause can't find all episodes!
And often I like anime like Serial experiments lain, where you should think and there are a bit darkness, but not too much.
Mostly I like: Fantasy, Science, Mystery, Adventure, Shounen, Mecha and fighting genres.
I love how in Ghost In the shell show a bit like our "future world" and that between human and machine connection.

I just watched the first few episodes of Watamote. Even though I'm not nearly as much into anime as many of my friends are, I do enjoy it occasionally, and Watamote is one of the best, most unique ones I've seen in a while. It was mentioned in another thread on here, and I found that I could relate to the main character in quite a few ways.

I was a bit worried with that for the first episode, but I am starting to warm up to it, Takao is my favourite character and her involvement made it better.

But for winning for yuri, that has to go to Sakura Trick, which might very well be one of the greatest yuri anime ever. It actually has couples.

I am also continuing to most enjoy Witch Craft Works, and World Conquest Zvezda Plot.
Witch Craft Works currently has my favourite ED of the season:

I need to get my computer situation straightened out so that I can stream to my new TV easily. Sakura Trick seems like just the inspiration that I need to get moving on that stalled project.

I finished Little Busters and Stella C3, and I enjoyed both of them. Little Busters had a more profound plot by far, while Stella failed to live up to its early potential on that front. Both of them had many delightful moments, though.

D-Frag more than Yuri has cross dressing elements.
