I've been watching Bones, season 10, on Netflix, picking up where I left off.
I watched the series on Netflix a while ago, but stopped after Sweets was killed. It was upsetting. I liked his character.
I thought there was some heavy handed efforts to pull on the heart. Like when Bones' and Booth's daughter says "Uncle Sweets and aunt Daisy are taking me to the park." I am paraphrasing. I thought the scene where Daisy is taking her final looks at Sweets bones, finding evidence of his life, like him playing soccer, or a healed break in the arm from falling out of a tree. Temperance goes to leave Daisy in private, but Daisy asks her to stay because only she can see what what Daisy sees. It underlined how alone Daisy felt.
On a lighter note, if someone I know dies, and they are sent to the Jeffersonian, the chances are slim to null that there is going to be an open casket funeral.
