I remember seeing 'Mr. Magoo' in theaters...I have to agree, it's a really below-average kiddie flick and one of the lower points of Leslie Nielsen's career.

'Can't Stop the Music', though, while indeed a bad film, is immensely entertaining because of its cheese factor. It's not a film I can sit through without some drinks, but parts of it are unintentionally hilarious; I like the bizarre alternate universe the filmmakers made where the Village People are straight. :P However, I also really like the Village People, so at least the music is decent.

'Birdemic' remains one of the funniest cinematic experiences I've had, and I still can't watch it without cracking up all throughout. Movies like that really only come around once a generation. 'Birdemic II' was much worse, primarily because everyone was in on the joke. An intentionally bad movie is always, ALWAYS worse than an unintentionally bad movie.

I can only hope Marvel remakes this dud so the original can be stricken from our memories.

Crash

Not to be confused with David Cronenberg's film of the same name, this movie was one of the worst depictions of how racism affects the world even now.

Whatever people who gave Crash a good review (and Academy members who gave this a Best Picture vote) saw in it is just beyond me and others with similar views.

Magnolia

Paul Thomas Anderson knows how to write and direct great movies, but IMO, Magnolia was just three hours of seemingly random people whining about how bad their lives are.

The Majestic

I recall seeing this movie when I was a kid because Jim Carrey was in the lead, but this movie came off to me as a remake of any Frank Capra movie if the script was written by Nicholas Sparks.

(However, a few days ago, I happened upon The Majestic on a free streaming app on my phone, so I will try to watch it again to determine if my opinion has changed.)

Fifty Shades of Grey. It's too "soft" of erotica for me to enjoy. It's very underwhelming as well as its sequel. If the scenes in there were a little "harder" then I and Shadow would've probably enjoyed it more. The entire movie is just really pathetic, stupid and boring. Shadow ABSOLUTELY HATES the movie with a passion and will swear up a storm about how much of a disgrace the movie is if brought up.

The entire trilogy is awful and whoever thought Twilight fanfic would have made a great best-seller definitely was not in the right mindset.

Crash - I am very unemotional and all I know is that the scene where the cop tries to pull her from the car affected me! I love movies but it is still very rare for me to react like that. Even seeing the movie again I have the same reaction. That makes it a great movie in my books - Thandie Newton was amazing! I just played the clip on youtube and the music, her voice, her reaction to what happened earlier - it seems so real. It's like every bad thing that ever happened to her spilled out at that moment.

Midsommar - Unoriginal, derivative, sub-standard acting, poor script, and the most annoying scenes of endless crying this side of the first day of preschool.

What's your verdict? I personally thought it paled compared to the original.
