Seriously, does anyone want to talk about this? It looks like they're trying to reboot by introducing two new agents, you can't replace Mulder and Scully, that dynamic is unique. Plus Mulder's half-baked idea of mushroom tripping so he could talk to a brain-dead terrorist was over the top, he was edgy before, but seeing the guy line dancing on mushrooms was as bad as seeing Liza Minelli singing "All the Single Ladies" on Sex in the City 2.
The show also got obviously political / preachy in episode 5.
