-Murderball (2005)
Easily one of the best documentaries I've seen in some time. The funny thing about this film is that you're first impression of the athletes in the film is to feel sorry for them because they're in wheelchairs, which is a common first impression with anyone you might see on the street in one. But as the film goes on and you see how they function in both sports and everyday life, you subconsciously stop viewing them as charity cases and start cheering for them as you would any protagonist in a fictional sports film. Very well done film, and I'm adding this one to my DVD shelf first chance I get.

Is it playing already in the UK? It doesn't come out here in the US till May 4.

I saw 3 Stooges most recently.

Kind of unrelated but luvsterriers signature is so touching. RIP Timmy.

Anyway, I might watch a movie tonight, and I'll let you all know what I watched when I've watched it. Depends what's on T.V.

I still miss him. Timmy was my only friend. That's sad, right?

If that makes you lonely then yes. Nothing sad about having a pet as a friend though. Throughout most of my childhood my best friend was my cat.

Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread.

Still haven't decided on a movie yet. Anyone have any suggestions?

^^ Yaye greetings rabbitears. I believe that I really enjoyed the happy film named The Avengers (Avenger Assemble). ^^ In addition, I believe that the following films are very magical:

My Neighbour Totoro
Scott Pilgrim vs the World
Coraline
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Thor
Highlander
Up

^^ I am very sorry if these are not nice films for you.

I am very sorry for your poor doggy luvsterriers. ^^ I believe that my kitties named Nell and Plato are my very best friends also.

I haven't seen Coraline or My Neighbour Totoro yet but I want to. They seem very good.

All the other films you listed I like. (You have good taste in films)

I think I'll watch Iron Man tonight. 8)

I saw it too! It was so funny and the actor who was cast as Moe was perfect.

On Saturday, I saw Safe, Jason Statham's new action movie.

This is one hell of an action movie with some very funny lines, and of course,
Jason Statham is badass as always.

I watched them often, but I think this'll be my first time posting here... A lot of times I'm just really tired when I go on the PC.

Yesterday, I saw The Pirates: Band of Misfits in 3D.

Hugh Grant is slightly funnier than Johnny Depp as a pirate, some scenes are cool in 3D, and Aardman Studios, IMOO,
will always be England's answer to Pixar.

The sequel is already in the works.

Dragon Tattoo Trilogy (Swedish Version) Extended Edition, Part 1 - Loved it just like I loved the regular edition Swedish movie. Most of all I love Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander, which is the primary reason I'm a Dragon Tattoo fan in the first place. I mean, yeah, the series in general is good, but Lisbeth's really what makes it for me.

Anyway, about the extended edition - I'm enjoying the extra scenes, they help give the movie more depth. I also like the setup of how the whole trilogy is broken up into hour-and-a-half chunks, of which there are 6 in total (2 for each part in the trilogy). I plan to watch one part each night until I finish. :)
