Good to see y'all.

I'm a new member, and I'm a brony, as well.

I saw like 2 episodes, from my friend who's a "Brony." It's not a bad show, I'd watch it if I watched TV regularly and it was on, more or less. I just don't "get it" I guess. My personal theory on MLP is this, people like it, as it's more or less a trend started by one or two people. Usually guys are ashamed of "girly" stuff like this, but once a few people online just were like "this is cool" then others followed those one or two guys. Sort of a situation of the Emperor's New Clothes, in that it's a bandwagon sorta thing. My theory is, various guys just want an outlet for their "girliness" so since MLP is liked by other guys, it's a relatively safe outlet. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the show anything like that, just I don't see it as being significantly better than other similar kids shows, slightly maybe, but not significantly. That's just the way I see things.

Also, my girly outlet is girly Japanese music, eurodance, and eurobeat, so yeah.

Yeah, I like every character on the show. Well, except Gilda, she was a b***h.

I just love everything about it  Reminds me of some good old cartoon network times..
And it seems that this show keeps pace with the *newly* gained audience!

You are most like Fluttershy!

Chronically weak and timid, but with a heart of solid gold, you tend to require and depend on the help of your friends in most situations. You enjoy their company, but also enjoy solitude and time away from your friends where you can enjoy the sounds of nature. Just because you know you're weak doesn't mean it holds you back, because you know you're strong where it counts, with your overabundance of kindness, caring, and compassion.

You're often worried about saying or doing the wrong things and also fear rejection. Speaking of fear, you've got a lot of it, often times letting your fear hold you back from doing even the most simple of things, such as jumping across a cliff. But in that fear, you can often find just enough bravery to stand up for doing the right thing if your friends need you.

You may be naive and innocent, and you're very shy and quiet, but you're also a very good listener and are likely the one your friends blab on about their problems to — and while you may feel powerless to help at times, just listening and cheering them on means the world to them. Yay!

That's what makes them special and funny.

I was always under the assumption that Pinkie Pie has ADHD.

How's Fluttershy Bipolar?

Twlight Sparkle always seemed like the only normal one. Fluttershy seems like the one with AS. Applejack apparently has OCD. The only that screams AS to me has to be Wind Whistler from the original 80's cartoon.

I always thought Fluttershy was an Aspie.

Pretty much exactly my feelings on it. Adventure Time is a good show, but why isn't there a huge Adventure Time internet subculture? Because it's not as girly and unusual.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I don't like the show just because everyone else likes it. And I think Adventure Time is more unusual than MLP. I love cartoons and I like to give shows a chance, so I'll watch a cartoon at least once, which is how I started watching My Little Pony.

I watch shows (and rewatch shows that are not on anymore) like Adventure Time, the Fairly Oddparents, Phineas and Ferb, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Futurama, Batman TAS, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Family Guy, Spider-man, Spongebob, well you get the idea, this list could go on and on.

But few of them have drawn me in on the same level as MLP-FiM. And I'm glad there's a growing fanbase, because it includes lots of talented people who make cool art, great music and funny videos, plus there's awesome t-shirts.

But if someone doesn't like it, that's fine with me, we all have our own interests.
