Al Bundy from “Married with Children”. Consider this:

- He has a narrow range of interests.
- His social skills are non-existent, and he’s a lousy liar.
- He has poor personal hygiene.
- He is suspicious of strangers and abhors change.
- He has a low sexual drive and doesn’t like being touched, even by his own children.
- He reserves his greatest affection for inanimate objects like his car or his toilet.
- Although he’s not the dumbest character on the show, he’s stuck in an unsatisfactory job (mostly because of his non-existent social skills).
- He has a great mind for trivia and an amazing way with words (especially insults).
- He tends to see the world in black and white.

Steve from Family Matters, House, Monk, a few people from Office Space (I can't remember their names)

I can probably think of a lot more later. I look for this kind of stuff all the time.

Aaron Altman (Albert Brooks' character) from Broadcast News (1987). It's a tough call - maybe he's just a really intelligent guy with poor social skills. But there's something about the way he gets upset when Tom walks behind him & pulls his suit jacket down that hits home with me. I'm guessing that he would have developed a lot of coping skills to be an on-camera reporter - like learning to look people in the eye - but some things, like being touched when you're not prepared, are hard to overcome.

Garth from Wayne's World would be a good candidate.

He struggled to get the Dream Woman (incidentally, played by Donna Dixon, wife of actor/Aspie Dan Aykroyd), and had trouble making the first move.

He appeared individualistic when Benjamin (Rob Lowe's character) kept talking about the corporate sponsors.

He seemed to be really skilled and good when sampling the drums at the music store (when Wayne finally got the guitar he wanted).

Anyone remember a cartoon about a red haired seventh grade girl named Pepper Ann? She seems kinda aspie to me.

I'm still only starting to look into Aspergers, so I'm not completely confident in identifying it. However, judging by the threads so far it appears to be any of the characters that I can identify with. So, based on that:

Grissom and Sara from CSI

Willow from Buffy

Goren from Law and Order:criminal intent

Monk

House

Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG1

Here's who I think has Asperger's:

*Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter in Batman the Animated Series: He's highly intelligent, obsessed with anything related to Lewis Carroll, trouble talking to others.
*C-3PO from Star Wars: He's also intelligent, doesn't like anything physical, only friend he seems to have is R2-D2, doesn't understand sarcasm (Ex. in ESB when he interupts Han and Leia kissing and Han talks to him sarcastically, which Threepio replys "Oh you're very welcome sir!").
*Edward Scissorhands
*Lisa Simpson
*Maybe Goo from Foster's

I definitely agree with Goren, House and Monk. Willow is cutely nerdy, but I wouldn't think of her as AS...

Radar from M*A*S*H might have Aspergers.
