Little Shop of Horrors - I really enjoyed it; it was a lot of fun. One of the few musicals I've seen that actually has a happy ending, which I appreciated. Seymour's my favorite character; he's a really nice, easy-to-relate-to guy. Even though the movie was mostly campy, there was one part that actually brought a tear to my eye, and that was when Audrey sang "Somewhere That's Green".

Was it the old one or newer one? I remember watching the newer one in grade 5. I used to love that movie and the songs in it.

If by the "newer" one you mean the one from the 80s starring Rick Moranis, then yes. My mom says that my older sisters used to love it too.

I watched Unleashed again last night. I love Jet Li's fighting style in that. So frantic and filthy. 8)

Sure. I'm not a big fan of the Planet of the Apes franchise, but this one was rather good. Much better than the 2001 remake.

Yesterday, I saw Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

Steve Carell and Keira Knightely make a very interesting couple,
even though Keira Knightely is old enough
to pass as Steve Carell's daughter or his niece.

Overall, a good, funny movie with a sad ending.

on youtube: Front of the Class
true story about a guy with Tourettes just trying to be a teacher in Altanta.
it was very inspirational. no adults really wanted to give him a chance.

Amazing Grace. One of the best films I've seen in some time. :)

Currently watching "The 39 Steps" by Alfred Hitchcock. This might be his best film (which is saying a lot since he made quite a few good films)

I just finished David Fincher's "The Game." Saw it was on Netflix Instant and I was talking to someone about David Fincher a little while ago, so I decided to watch it. Like most Fincher movies, it's a kind of creepy thriller. At first, I thought it wasn't going to be very memorable, but the weird ending changed all that. Only the ending was really weird though, and still nowhere near the weirdest movie I've ever seen. That would have to be Darren Aronofsky's "The Fountain." Overall, "The Game" was a good film, but I could clearly see why it's not considered to be up there with Fincher's best.
