Joker , pretty good movie but virtually nothing to do with Joker as seen in comics (although in LOTDK he was a stand up named Joe Kerr)

What is your opinion about Joaquin Phoenix's performance?

Is there more than one? The one from 1994.

Disney supposedly did a live-action version recently.

As for the last movie *I* saw.... Armored (I think)... or American Sicario....
Not sure which one was actually the last one I watched LOL.

Thumbs-up for both though -- Both free on Hulu if anyone is interested.

The live-action remake was directed by Jon Favreau and released in 2019.

The Batman. Good movie. But at the same time just another version of the long series of Batman movies.

That's the problem with Hollywood, all they wanna do anymore is rehash the same crap over and over.

I've written a crime/law/mystery book that could have been a bestseller, also adapted to a screenplay that could have been a blockbuster. Two sequels in the works as well, one of them almost done. But they're not open to new ideas anymore.

And after piracy ripped me off to the tune of over a hundred grand (because people blow $60.00 on gourmet coffee in the five days it takes to read a $3.00 book they refuse to pay for), I refuse to give away more of my efforts for free. It took me almost 10 years to write the first one between night shifts as a taxi driver. I certainly don't think $3.00 is too much to ask for 10 years of my time.

EDIT: Love the username BTW.

In short, I liked it a lot. I haven't had the opportunity to see Tatami Galaxy yet.
