"The Last Days of Disco" by Whit Stillman. I liked this more than "Metropolitan". It might be worth seeing more of his films...

"Hair" by Milos Forman. What is weird is that I generally do not like musicals and yet some of my favorite films are musicals. The choreography by Twyla Tharp is one of the things that makes this film so visually appealing.

I also love the irreverent attitude as expressed in "black boys / white boys"

And the opening song has some of the most beautiful visuals. I never understood the appeal of dance until I saw Twyla Tharp's choreography.

Saw the Bourne legacy yesterday and honestly I am a bit disappointed.

Ocean's Eleven

The first of a trilogy. Good film. Good fun.

I love that movie. I still remember the first time watching it. It made me cry.

Yesterday, I saw The Bourne Legacy after my appointment.

This is just as good as the previous three films and is an awesome addition to the Bourne story. The action scenes and the interactions between Aaron Cross and Dr. Shearing all are impressive.

Came out of the cinema, saw Chernobyl Diaries.

Reminded me of The Blair Witch Project. I was fairly happy when I went in, now... not so much happy.

Hunger Games

I'm not so big on the gonzo totalitarian futurism (psychopathy fantasy circle-jerk) but I did like the way the game itself played out.

I never really understood the ending.

From paris with love

Cop land --- zomg, i just checked out whether cop land was one or two words by searching for it and i noticed that the release date was 1997.... I remember when it came out, i thought "oh, that looks interesting" and it got good reviews... It still seems new! Has 15 years really passed since then? I can't believe it took me 15 years to watch!

Think i might watch a movie called The blind side next.

I think the only thing that left it all off a bit flat was that while they caused some problems they didn't actually do anything that would end the tradition.

Is hunger games worth watching then? From an adult i might actually respect the opinion, just i stopped myself from looking at it so far cuz i thought it was just a battle royale rip off. And god knows u can't expect a reliable opinion on the issue from the kids that are raving about it. Shall i watch it?

Take what I said with a big grain of salt then because I have no familiarity with Battle Royale.

Hunger Games was a giant disappointement. It took what was a rather light but at least entertaining book and made it even lighter. It was like the diet vanilla version of the book.

However, I also saw Red State and Martha Marcy May Marlene this weekend. Bothe were exceptional and I highly recommend them both.

I tried to see The Dictator, but fell asleep. I don't seem to like silly movies as much as I used to.

Also, Pulp Fiction.
