I was taken today to see 2016 (and no, I didn't have to pay).

There's no real surprises for anyone really - you either see the west one way or another and I generally think that has a lot to do with the way people vote.

Last week, I saw The Dark Knight Rises. My only disappointment is that Catwoman hasn't got a whip throughout the film. Instead, she used a f**kin' gun. Really?!

I was surprised with Tom Hardy's performance. I knew it was him from the credits, but I just couldn't figure out that it was him playing Bane. Last time I saw him was in Star Trek Nemesis, he was so skinny there compared to this beefed up bulldog character.

The Longest Day

Excellent war movie about D-Day that is told from both the Allied and German points of view.

I thought Insidious was a decent movie.

Yesterday, I saw The Bourne Legacy after my appointment.

This is just as good as the previous three films and is an awesome addition to the Bourne story. The action scenes and the interactions between Aaron Cross and Dr. Shearing all are impressive.

Have to disagree with you there. I saw this movie the other day and thought it was terrible. Nothing actually happened or was resolved, and the main character had no objective other than staying alive. An empty, pointless movie. I was really looking forward to it too, because I love the original trilogy. :(

Donnie Darko

Thriller movie ending with a twist.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Drama film with a lot of arguing. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

The Hunger Games

I thought that the acting was very good, and the action was intense at certain parts. My mom watched it with me and she didn't like all of the child death in it (she's sensitive when it comes to children), but she seemed to really like the character of Katniss. I was kind of hoping that this movie (or rather, this franchise) would become a new obsession for me, but it didn't click with me like I had hoped. Oh well.

The last movie I watched was Speak. It's about a girl in high school who gets raped the summer before she starts high school at a party and she calls the police but ends up not reporting what happened. When high school starts she finds herself with no friends and she goes through grade 9 extremely depressed because of her ex-friends turning their back on her and the horrible memory of what happened that night and with not telling anyone about it. It stars Kristen Stewart. The movie itself was pretty good, it's based on a book which I read before I watched the movie.

I love it. My dad's response was "isn't that a bit violent for you?"

Expendables 2. Not my sort of film; but enjoyed it.
