Rebel Without a Cause was a good movie.

I can't say I've seen many since, like. One in a half really. I saw the whole of Transamerica, which seemed like it was trying to be every single other 'indie road trip" movie ever. I about half payed attention to Milk since me and my sister were trying to create "rednecks" on The Sims. So my dad sent us upstairs since we were laughing/giggling at how trashy the sims looked.

I just wanted to say that I moved "Imagine Me & You" up my Netflix queue and it's coming in the mail tomorrow. And I added a few other movies after seeing others mention them and then looking them up. So I wanted to say thank you for this thread!

Sister My Sister. A story about consensual adult lesbian incest between maids who wind up murdering their employers. You may be surprised to learn it's not a porno (actually a fairly tame melodrama). And the real clincher - it was based on a true story. For further details, I suggest you do a little research on the Papin sisters.

If we're going for the based-on-a-true-story-lesbian-murder movies, I cast my vote for Heavenly Creatures.

What is your favorite movie?

Lost and Delirious is a good one (and, like IM&U, stars Piper Perabo).

Monster (based on the crimes of Aileen Wournos, but I'm not sure if she was really a lesbian or the movie was just written to include a lesbian love affair)
Watchmen (Sillhouette is cool)
V For Vendetta (There was much speculation that V was gay even though he falls for Evie, why else was he in that detention centre? And of course there was Valerie, the lesbian actress)

Shelter
Rock Haven is a close second for me.

btw, I hated Monster mainly because Macauley Caulkin's acting in it is some of the worst for me, and usually I'm not a good acting reader on the spot.

You mean Party Monster?

Monster was a movie that gave Charlize Theron an Academy Award.
