The castle scenes in Nosferatu always do it for me. Harker getting out of bed, slowly opening his door, and seeing Dracula at the far end of the hall, just standing there staring... good lord.

I found Transformers quite disturbing, for all the wrong reasons. The fact that so many people consider it to be acceptable entertainment is quite jarring.

Although I thought the film as a whole was just mediocre, I admit to being incredibly creeped out by a couple of scenes in The Blair Witch Project. Specifically, hearing children laughing outside the tents and hearing a girl screaming in the basement of the house.

Jacob's Ladder is quite creepy. The style of the Silent Hill video games was directly ripped of from this film. (Some of the plot elements, too.)

Miracle Mile is one of those movies I always recommend that nobody else seems to have heard of. For added fun, you can watch Cloverfield afterwards and see how closely the two match up. I won't make accusations of plagiarism, but it's uncanny.

Any movie involving needles, due to my needle phobia. I wouldn't call any of the Saw movies particularly scary (or any good at all), but the needle pit scene in Saw II affects me for obvious reasons.

Kids is pretty normal, IMO. My childhood was different (and relatively lonely), but I've friends of friends (of friends) who had all that stuff. That is the sex, the drugs, and certainly the STDs.

That was Oldboy.

The believability of Kids disturbed me the most.

My picks:
1. A Clockwork Orange: One of Stanley Kubrick's best works. But this is supposed to be disturbing, so I'm not sure it counts.
2. Pulp Fiction: According to another forum I frequent, I'm not alone. I really didn't like this movie.

I found -Nothing But the Truth- rather upsetting and it left me even more annoyed that usual with the U.S. government and the so-called justice system.

Irreversible has already been mentioned, one of my favourite films I never want to see again.
Gaspar Noé's Seul contre tous (I Stand Alone) is arguably even bleaker.

Happiness is a dark comedy that is so dark it becomes disturbing. The way it manages to make you feel sorry for some people you REALLY shouldn't... Not even slightly violent or something, just... mind ****ing.

Cool beans! I'm a jack the Ripper fan!
Well, not really. I just like research trying to hunt down his identity.
