I feel a lot like Leonard from the Big Bang Theory.

I'd like to think I was like Chief O'Brien from DS9--blue collar hero and genius Mr, Fixit, but I'm actually more like Rom...

But even Rom has his moments...

I wonder sometimes if Sheldon was based on me because I am just like him (or is he just like me?). The only difference is I am only good at basic maths and although my understanding of science is a lot better than the majority of people in the UK's (that isn't hard though...) it's no way genius level! Things I have in common with Sheldon are dress sense, the innocence and naivety, the fact that I talk way too much, my obsession with video games, strict adherence to routine (tonight is veggie meatball night for example!), obsession with hygiene and germs and that I can be really REALLY socially awkward! I also can't read facial expressions/body language or pick up sarcasm or idioms...

And they still say they didn't base him on a person with AS!

I would like to be like Penny from the Big Bang theory or Amy Pond from Dr Who. I wish I was more girly and able to appreciate the smaller things in life!

Sheldon was based on a real person, though he was actually more of a combination of Sheldon and Raj (he could only talk to women if drunk). At the time, the makers of the show thought this person - who I believe was a computer programer - was only weird and quirky, when in fact he probably was an Aspie.

I think I feel a little or lot like Shadow The Hedgehog from the Sonic franchise.

No single character comes to mind but if you could combine Tom Reagan (Gabriel Byrne) from "Miller's Crossing" M. Hulot (Jacques Tati) and most of the characters Woody Allen plays then maybe it would come close.

On another side, you could combine Chow Mo-Wan (Tony Leung) from "In The Mood For Love" and Travis Henderson (Harry Dean Stanton) from "Paris, Texas" and William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) from "Seven"

Although I guess the closest single match is Dr. Isak Borg (Victor Sjöström) from "Wild Strawberries"

I guess I'd most like to be many of the more intellectual characters that Morgan Freeman plays even though I'm probably more like the characters Woody Allen plays.

Probably Clive Owen, although in some ways; Jurgen Prochnow

Some people say that my personality is like that of Dr. Daniel Jackson from Stargate: SG1.

I see a lot of similarities between me and Ayanami Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Also, I used to fancy myself a mix between Xander and Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Xander being the geek and Willow being the nerd. Xander's relationship with Cordelia BEFORE they fell in love halfway into season 2, was a lot like how I was in school with one of the popular girls. :P
