Any movie that purports to be based on a real historical incident, but the screenwriter takes all sorts of liberties with it. I refused to go see that movie about a German sub during WWII that had an enigma machine aboard. I didn't want to see "Saving Mister Banks" but went anyway because it's probably the only movie that will ever feature Walt Disney as a character.

Also most horror movies, I grew up seeing Christopher Lee and Boris Karloff in horror movies that barely featured a drop of blood, and today its a bucketload of gore.

Horror movies that overuse depictions of blood and gore.

Muscals. The only one I like is Eight Crazy Nights and maybe, just maybe Rock of Ages. High School Musical and all that I just cannot stand. Also Twilight, I wanted to ask a girl out to see it just because I know she loved it, but I did not think it was worth it sitting through that garbage for two hours, I absolutely refuse to watch it.

Anything involving child abuse in the subject matter. Also, anything involving rape in the subject matter. I can't stomach that. Especially since most of the time when that subject matter is used, it is used to entertain the audience with cruelty.

Most karate movies. I just find them unwatchable and stupid.

Anything showing the skin being broken. Whether it is a needle, a surgical blade, or a gore horror, doesn't matter. "Saw" was a series that I enjoyed but had to turn my head away from... A LOT. Most surgical scenes, or a druggy using a needle will cause me to turn my head, or start squirming. My wife laughs at me when I do this.

Oh where to begin? Movies with graphic, bloody violence and people getting horribly killed on-screen every two minutes, graphic bodily functions and fluids everywhere, movies about natural disasters or pandemics or the apocalypse, movies with tons of swearing, "family" movies that use raunchy humor, swearing, and graphic gross-outs just so they don't get "the dreaded G rating", movies where women get tortured, raped or murdered, and movies that have massively downer endings. Not much left to see, is there? But I'm not a movie person to begin with. I'm not even a TV person any more, not that that isn't unusual. :(

I used to be really into horror films, but the darkness presented in them messed me up very badly. I didn't attack or kill anyone, but my emotions and thoughts became consumed by what i saw in those stories. I've seen some films with supernatural elements in them over the years, but my last all-out horror film was in 2006, and I don't plan on going back.

Similarly, I also wrestled with a porn addiction for several years, and God alone gets my thanks for the freedom I have from it. I still battle memories sometimes, and being single at 33 is no fun whatsoever...but in my heart, I want what God originally meant that connection to be, nothing else.

I cant watch movies with subtitles. An occasional few in the movie is OK but NOT a lot. The only language I know is English & reading subtitles is a problem for me. I'm a good reader or was when I was in school but I read very slowly. I also have a low vision disorder & not a visual person with stuff so I'd miss out on the visual part of the movie & giving myself a headache & missing out on some of the dialog because it's hard on my eyes & my mind cant keep up with the reading.

Horror movies. Never liked them.
But it's okay if in movie are "a bit" something dark and mystery, then I like it, but if there is a lot horror I can't watch it. I'm too fearful person. Hahah. And in that same goes too bloody movies. Especially anime movies, I start to feel sick If I see too much blood and people body parts loose. It's a bit contradictory when I've seen a lot "too" bloody movies. I can watch action and fighting, because I love them, but if there is TOO MUCH bloody, can't stand.

Musical movies. I used to like them when I was younger, but not anymore. When I watch that kind of movies, I wait that "When the music scene is over.." and hope that movie goes as possible long without music scenes as it can.
Because I just feel that music scenes is waste of movie time.

Romantic movies. I hate too romantic movies, they are mostly boring and long without anything interesting.
