Neat! I'm waiting to see Alien: Covenant this March.

if you are ever curious as to what high frame rate looks like while watching a movie, you can go to a tv store and ask to see one of their high frame rate [also known as judder eliminating] tv sets, sony and Samsung among others make them.

I am a big sucker for time travel, future, and metaphysical/heaven flicks, also alternate history flicks. also some rare flicks. "incubus" is one such. that was a movie that was thought lost but it was found playing in a French cinema, and it was restored and released on DVD a few years back.

the most recent one I saw, was "11-22-63" about what would have happened had JFK not been assassinated. but it was disappointing at the last in that it didn't get into the dystopian alternate world of today, they just skimmed it, barely. but in terms of high-frame rate, on my sony judder-elimination set it looked nice and real, like it was live tv in spots. I like that sensation of liveness, immediacy and high frame rate imparts on movies/videos.

So you like to be "immersed" in the experience of the film you watch? :o

definitely :o I like being so enthralled that I forget about everything else, and high-frame-rate helps that BIG-TIME.
