Finally, this movie made it into my little corner of the world, and I just had the chance to see it today.
Suffice it to say, I had a good time watching it while at the cinema, but it was impossible for me to watch the woes of the main character to get rid of his 40-year-old virginity and not feel like they were portraying my own life on screen (okay, I' not *that* geek, but still..). In the end, you can't help but celebrate with him to have his goal finally achieved... and wishing for yourself to do so someday as well. That's probably the only bad thing about the film for me - that makes me remind of those "pending issues" that you have yet to resolve in your life, and finding yourself past 30 while at it -- it's definitely so not funny. I'm still feeling a bit uncomfortable about it all.
That aside, the film is nice and enjoyable on its own. Even its truckload of f-words have a reason to be. But probably if you are a grown-up AS virgin, it may leave you with a bittersweet sting in your mind.
I definitely don't want to reach 40 and become a real-life Andy Stitzer, for sure...
