Currently on TV I watch Heroes, House, Battlestar Galactica, and Eureka. Was watching Jericho, but then they went and canceled that...again... Also watching Stargate on DVD right now, almost done with season 8, eventually Ill get caught up and watch all of Atlantis on DVD as well and probably start watching the new episodes on that. 24 I always wait for the DVDs so that I can just watch it at my own pace of a disc a night instead of 1 episode a week.

I am immensely impressed by the number of people who have included House, as it is quite simply the best show ever, and the focus of my current obssession (four years and counting...)
Also, Torchwood, obviously, as there's nothing like Jack/Ianto to brighten up the week.

Just finished watching Jericho, after having recorded the last 4 episodes of the show(Been watching Stargate most nights, up to Season 9 after having started watching the DVDs on New Years), finally watched them tonight. Such a shame that a show that good got canceled, twice, especially considering the 7 episode run of Season 2 was of a much higher consistency of quality than Season 1, and yet still didn't get enough viewers for CBS to continue it. But at least it had a second chance, which is more than most shows get. Heres hoping it gets a third chance and gets picked up on a cable network or gets a movie continuation like Firefly got.

I've started watching Stargate: Atlantis and I really like it. Its like anthropological sci fi, which is so great - you know, landing on another planet and discovering how that planet evolved and what kind of weird customs they have and everything - what legal issues and moral complications arise in interaction with their culture... also how myriad species deal in all kinds of different and innovative ways to one antagonist.

Also, a funny thing (to me anyway) is how they all represent a Country, and the guy wearing the Canadian flag is so silly and cowardly (although he grows on you and becomes more and more likable and clever) but the way he always makes a fuss over preserving his life and taking no risks while the Americans will forge bravely ahead into battle I find really funny because its kind of how the Americans see us Canadians. As harmless but a bit cowardly given we don't have the same propensity to leap headfirst into war the way they do. And they drain all our brain power that’s for sure.

2) Big Bang Theory -- its just so amazingly clever

... I dont watch much television, just these but maybe a few others when I have extra lazy time.

Oh yeah House is great. (Not my obsession, but great)

Loved especially seeing Hugh Laurie pretending to fake a British accent! Major lol moment for me.

Oh. Just noticed. I do believe I forgot to include other Star Trek series in my above post. Just close your eyes and imagine that I've already rectified that situation.

I'm waiting for those competition shows like, so you think you can dance(I only watch the first couple of episodes to see the people make fools of themselves), last comic standing, and that talent show on NBC(forgot the name of it)
