For comedy ones, I really liked the opening of "The Return of Maxwell Smart."

I think the best opening scene was the one from "E.T.", which told a whole story without a single line of (audible) dialogue.

The opening restaurant scene in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" was sensational, too.

The incredibly long D-day landing opening scene of Saving Private Ryan was eardrum-blastingly loud and incredibly intense, it was almost immersive.
