Coen bros' (can't say that anymore!) genius comic adaptation of The Odyssey set in depression era Mississippi...

Funny flick with great music!

That movie rocks! It's one of my favorite movies done by the Coen Brothers, as are No Country for Old Men
and their remake of True Grit.

Umm, you know, it's actually Wachowski brothers that you can't say anymore...

O Brother Where Art Thou is still a good movie. ;)

PS

I agree that True Grit and No Country... rock as well.

This makes me wonder if the Coen Brothers have a sequel to O Brother, Where Art Thou in the works. I won't be all that surprised if they are working on one.

Lesser known earlier Tim Burton film about a man looking for his missing bike.

Absolutely fantastic! Loved that film when I was younger, far before I was aware of Tim Burton, though looking back on the film its a really interesting indication of the direction he was going to be going film-making wise.

I just got back from seeing Frankenweenie in 2D.

This movie is the good kind of creepiness that if you see this, whether you are a dog owner or not, and even though this isn't one of Tim Burton's best works, you may like this a lot.

I remember seeing Burton's original live action short, of the same name years ago on video, which the most recent Frankenweenie was based on. Very fun, where there is a lot of humor in the horror.

Trainspotting

British movie about heroin addicts. Gets rather disgusting a few times.
