Yeah, people really suck. There´s just too much pettiness, ignorance and hatred going round.
If Pinkie Pie ran the place the trains probably wouldn´t run on schedule but it would be a bright and cheerful world.

I don´t buy into the whole MLP thing, but I have to say it´s awfully cute and some of the jokes are quite funny. The reason I´ve chosen not to indulge in it is that the stories are rather weak and too predictable, the characters a little too flat and last, but definately not least, the music just drove me mad. I think someone pointed out earlier in this thread that if you just changed the music it would be almost like an entirely different show.

One of the very few changes I would make to the show is more musical numbers!

-My Little Pony - FiM songs and remixes
-aggrotech/harsh ebm
-Disney songs
-gothic metal
-movie film scores

Now that I think about it I think the reason why Derpy is found to be more offensive then characters like Ed or Patrick is because she is more realistic, she actually comes across as someone with a high functioning mental disability than just a fantasy ret*d which isn't really a person like Patrick or Ed.

Strangely enough I actually liked the youtube clip with Kanye West´s "Power" way back in this thread. I´m not a fan of his, nor do I listen to hiphop much but that made me think "if the MLP intro had been like this it would have been so much better".
Nightmare Moon could have been kickass with som really dark and heavy metal.
Pinkie Pie seems more like bouncy chiptune/computer game music.
Don´t know about the others... Why not more metal, it goes with anything. :D

There's some almost-metal theme music for Gilda. I hadn't even registered it in my mind during the episode, but there are clips all over youtube and it was actually pretty cool.
I want to listen to the new song sooooo much, but I haven't seen the last three episodes yet. Not sure if I should catch up right now or just keep screwing around with videogames and frustrating college stuff.

I randomly felt like trying to draw some ponies about an hour ago. Why? I have no idea. The last time I sat down and tried to actually draw something was in a high school art class during my sophomore year, which was around 8 years ago. Anyway, this was the result:

Hey, not bad. Those are actually pretty good. I like the Rainbow Dash one, it looks a lot like her.

Thank you! I don't know if I can do better since I have poor motor control (my handwriting is awful), but I think I'll try to draw some more and practice.

The original scene was a loving shout out to bronies and now they had to change it for no good reason. Now the show probably won't ever do something like that again.

derpy will still be in the show as a background character, but i doubt she will ever be mentioned by name or have a speaking part again :'( I love derpy and i'm pissed off that they changed her voice and got rid of her name, it's sad but it's not the end of the world... at least hasbro didn't cut her out of the episode entirely

the original (unedited) version of the Last Roundup is still available online, on torrent sites etc. and on the DVD!

Derpy is not gone! she is still in the show and will continue to be in countless pieces of art & fanfic as long as the Brony fandom exists
