Birthday Girl (2001)
About a gullible guy, ordering himself a Russian bride. I would probably fall for such a scheme.

What do you expect when a rapper directs a film? I could have told you it would suck just from that alone, never mind how awful the trailers were.

I saw Skyfall today. It was pretty good. Not 'Best. Bond. Ever.' like some reviewers say, but pretty good. I had a couple complaints with it but it was still entertaining.

Hysteria (2011)

the subject was delivered quite humourlessly and I enjoyed it :D Unexpected. I thought I was going to watch a drama between 2 women fighting over a man. Turned out to be something else...

The other day, I saw Wreck-It Ralph in 3D.

Funny, enjoyable, great voice work by the lead voice actors, and the lead characters almost resembled the voice actors playing them, it was a little creepy.

Whoever said that Wreck-It Ralph is Toy Story if Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and everybody else were video game characters is very much right on that.

Ralph isn't so much a "bad guy" in this who wants to be good, but more of an antihero who wants to change his nature.
The best scene is a twist where Ralph learns something about another video game character who he meets in a game that he ends up in, that he has to do something heroically.

Friday the 13th...I haven't seen any new movies I'd be interested in going to the theater for.

i am watching Dangerous Remedy right now. this is a scary film. freaky as. it is about this doctor who is campaining for abortion to be delegalised and just seeing the conditions that women had to have abortions in and the way their lives were ruined or the way their lives were ended literally and the treatment that doctors(heroes) who performed abortions got and the dangers they faced, it's just frightening. the film does not have a happy ending i am told. anti-abortion people disgust me. how could they wish this upon anyone in favour of a foetus?

The BskyB [re]Production of Treasure Island.... What a godawful mess.

I prefer my Long Johns with more brains and somewhat less mascara .

Hamlet

The very long well-made 1996 version of the Shakespeare story.

Lockout a surprisingly good low budget scifi thriller from France, starring Guy Pearce. Nothing groundbreaking, just good, pulpy, fun!

Brave

It was just as good, if not better, than how I remembered it from theaters. Suspenseful, funny, and heartfelt - I teared up a couple of times. Great movie.
