The Running Man
-This was decent for a Schwarzenegger vehicle.

Ransom
-I caught the last half of this movie on vacation, and it seemed good.

Porco Rosso
-A funny animated action movie by Hayao Miyazaki.

Sweeny Todd - Don't know, I hear lots of complaints in comparison to the play and can easily imagine a lot of people playing this roll a lot better than Johnny Depp (part of the marketing unfortunately though, is having a name - its brass tacks). Took me a while to get my head around the musical aspect but it was still alright.

There Will Be Blood
- Not bad, not great. I guess I just didn't see the deeper meaning in this one as well as other people may have and it felt like whatever life lessons it was throwing out there were fleeting rather than unified.

Into The Wild - GOOD movie, liked this one a lot as well as it dealt with a lot of concepts about reality and society in general that I could relate to well. Also, amazing that it is based on a true story.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay 2008

Their actual escape was ridiculously easy for Gitmo. Also, was not anticipating the lower frontal nudity. That was a real surprise, seeing the girls' vaginas. 8O I would have been fine with the female nudity had my sister not been sitting right beside me.

The guy they got to play Dubya looked creepy. Couldn't decide if it was that was someone's actual face or some guy in makeup. I imagine the Smokeless Bong is either already available or currrently in development. But is such a thing even possible if the weed is stil being combusted?

How are H & K gonna top this one?

Educational? Not really.

I'ts a crash-course in bullsh*t, is what it is. They've made it seem pretty convincing, but it's actually the product of a creepy New Age cult. Check IMDB.

I liked August Rush...though I thought the scenes with August/Evan feeling overwhelmed in New York were a total sensory overload. Which is kind of a good thing, because it showed how Evan felt about being alone in the city in a very accurate and personal manner.

I watched "Pan's Labyrinth" the other day. I love that movie.

I saw Iron Man yesterday.

It opened to a $100 million gross
and an Iron Man 2 is guarenteed.
