Just watched an episode of Crown Court, a UK drama series from the 1970s. I recorded many hours of these from a now defunct channel called 'Red' almost 10 years ago, and have just got round to checking them out.

Netflix's original series Lost In Space, episodes 1 - 4.

It's okay so far. The robot looks nothing like the original, one of the Robinson daughters is black, Maureen Robinson is now the brains of the bunch, and Dr. Smith is a woman!

What's missing? The humor from Dr. Smith.

Watched a very early (1961) episode of The Avengers.

Unrecognizable from what the show later became. No John Steed (Patrick McNee), nor any of his famous female co-stars. The main character (the 'Avenger' in fact) is Dr David Keel, played by Ian Hendry.

The storyline involved dastardly espionage-related deeds in an Eastern European circus company visiting London, and was played absolutely straight, unlike the show as it later evolved with its trademark tongue-in-cheek irony and spoofery.

Snowfall.

Second season opener of the origins of the the crack epidemic. From the CIA directing the sail of coke to finance their Contra army, to the black and Latino dealers on the ground level, these were often good people who, little by little, lose their souls and become something terrible.

More Cats Does Countdown on streaming, including a second viewing of some episodes. I get more of the jokes the second time, and also more of the puzzles. ;-)

More comedy panel shows... I mean, Game Shows. I really like the format of WILTY, but the show distinguished itself for its whiteness. I came to appreciate Lee Mack and David Mitchell after seeking out more Richard Ayoade and Romesh Ranganathan.

Sleepy Hollow - not sure about this yet, perhaps it will grow on me.

Celebrity Big Brother, I just can't help myself.
