Antichrist.
Gotta be one of the most twisted movies I've ever seen - and that's saying a lot!

"Side by Side". Documentary looking at various cinematographer's and director's attitudes about film versus digital acquisition. It doesn't really go into the technical details too much, but it's a pretty good look at th subject.

I was amused at myself because as the film mentions certain landmark films, I already knew which camera they had been shot on.

Anyway, my attitude is that I like both film and digital. They are both tools that have their advantages and disadvantages. Good film making is not about the tool you use to shoot the picture, but the way you use those tools. If you can't tell a good story in digital, you aren't likely to tell a good story on film.

An interesting film which reminds me of a anti-superhero film of sorts when one of the young persons let's their power go to their head..

Do yourself a favor and see Die Hard and Die Hard with a Vengeance as soon as possible. They're two of the best action films ever made. Die Hard 2 and Live Free or Die Hard are also good, but not required viewing.

I thought it was good, because, like the first one, he was saving his family. He did exactly that in this new movie. I do not see it as his son taking over the roll like what happened in the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)

Taken 2 (2012)

Better than the first one, which I liked to begin with. They should really make a weekly TV series with Liam Neeson running around Europe, beating the living piss out of the people who took something from him, because I could watch these things all day.

American History X

Edward Norton plays a Neo-Nazi who, upon finishing a 3 year prison term, reforms and tries to stop his brother from going down the same path he did.

9 (2009)

One of my all time favorite movies and an interesting take on the 'when technology turns on its creators' genre.

It also doesn't help matters that my favorite character, 6, has been mentioned by the creators as having autism and the director and producers of the film did a good job at trying (and imo succeeding) to keep him from becoming a over the top stereotype.

I'm currently watching The Wolfman. That's the remake with Benecio Del Toro, not the Lon Chaney Jr. original.

Megamind

Dreamworks animated movie about a villian who defeats the hero, tries to create a new one, and goes to the good side. Funny and entertaining.
