Watched the second episode of HBO's short docu-series based around Michelle McNamara and her investigation into the Golden State Killer, specifically based on her book that shares the same title: I'll Be Gone in the Dark. Really enjoying it so far, excited for the new episode tomorrow night.

Episode 5 (of 6) of HBO/Amazon prime miniseries "Years and years"

It's a show dealing with the near future, the next decade.
It's deeply disturbing, because except for some of the scientific advances shown, everything else is basically only an extension -but not an exaggeration of what's going on.
Refugee camps, extreme weather events, populist politicians, more refugee camps.

And a pandemic that presents with coughing and flu like symptoms.
The show was made in 2019, and it feels like it was being very optimistic about the timescale.

Dexter. It's ok. A little slow, but the main character is very interesting and, in some ways, relatable.

An episode of Expedition Unknown that focused on the USS Cyclops and how it may have disappeared in the vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle during World War II.

I watched both seasons of The Umbrella Academy, the second season being released just as I finished the first. I found it a very fun show.

I watched the first episode. It was dark and dreary and had no happiness or kindness in it. Does that change in later episodes?
