Not until December, so it's 4 months.

"Blue Jasmine". Very good. It's nice to see a good Woody Allen film. Really well played characters.

"Triangle", quite a clever film really, lots of films now are just visual.

You can see it on You-Tube HERE

Fruitvale Station

A docudrama about the 2009 shooting of Oscar Grant.

Very powerful, emotional movie with strong performances from the cast. I would not be surprised if this movie receives a few Academy Award nominations when nominations are announced.

This movie won both the Grand Jury Prize-US Dramatic and the Audience Award-US Dramatic
back in January at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.

Though this will not open in Portland until August 9th, I am looking forward to seeing this.

I was wondering what happened to Woody Allen after Midnight In Paris was released two years ago.

Exorcismus. (I think that's how you spell it.)

Spanish horror movie about a home schooled teen aged girl who is possessed by the Devil. Her very secular parents eventually seek the help of the girl's uncle, a priest and exorcist, even though the last girl he had tried to help had died. It's eventually revealed the girl was not the innocent victim of possession, but had welcomed it at a moment of anger at her controlling mother. As well, the priest's true motives are revealed when the girl discovers he is more interested in proving Satan's existence than with helping her - by the time her father and brother are dead, and her mother has had a mental breakdown. The truth is, the priest, with his hubris, has been feeding the Devil by extending the girl's pain and terror. Doug Bradly of Hellraiser fame also makes a brief appearance as an elderly priest.
Over all, a decent movie.

-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer

First Knight

A weaker entry in the King Arthur tale. No Merlin or Morgana in this one. Centers more on the love triangle between Lancelot, Guinevere, and Arthur while a warlord plots to seize power from Arthur.
