As awful as it is to say it, the whole scene of Indiana Jones raped on top of the pin ball machine - and especially the close up of Lucas' face as he has an orgasm - always has made my wife and I laugh hysterically!
Now I feel embarrassed admitting to that.

Despite all that, I think I still prefer Family Guy. Though my absolute favorite cartoons are The Venture Bros., and The Boondocks tying for first place, and Futurama following up in second place.

Off and on. There are some parts of "Family Guy" that are funny and some that are not.

simpsons really isn't funny anymore. south park is too vulgar and offensive. plus south park doesn't have very good jokes. just toilet humor. makes me wonder why everyone on this site WANTS to be made fun of by them. family guy has that random humor that i love. it's dirty, but not disgusting

Huh, I like the show because I think it doesn't have any likable characters... I'd go so far as to say that I genuinely dislike Peter, so part of the appeal of the show is seeing what awful things will happen to him this time.

Nope, but then again I don't watch Southpark. I usually enjoy the show when I happen to see it, and even tend to agree with Parker and Stone politically, but it's not something I go out of my way to watch. Strangely enough, I tend to enjoy the show more second hand, people tell me about the Southpark take on a current event and I usually think it's spot on, but feel no desire to actually watch the show.

even when they do that, I just think the show is so incredibly well written that I'm not even bothered by it.

If you want to see a show where a message gets shoved down your throat, and it's obvious the focus is on the message rather than the show being funny, watch All in the Family...

let's just say you'll find out everything you ever needed to know about such a condescending show by watching little more than the friggin' debut episode.
