Good Burger. That is my favorite movie, and it's hilarious, but it seems like nobody has seen it.

I am just curious about how your definition of underrated? Maybe its differend in europe and the US, but lots of the films that were mentioned in this thread, are seen as very good films here, that are known for worth seeing?

Lake House, Memento, Gattaca, Hidalgo, The Big Lebowski, Falling Down, Alien 3, these are classics. And Spaceballs? Are there really people on earth not having seen spaceballs? ^^ Four Weddings and a Funeral, that was a cinema hit around here, Chocolat as well? O_o Lost in Translation is even watched in school classes to discuss typical teenager and youth problems...., just like Flags of our Fathers and Letters of Iwo Jima are mentioned in almost every of the "20 Best war films" lists".

I am simply curious about hearing of films, that are partly known here as Masterpieces (The Big Lebowski) mentioned as underrated? O_o

I was interested to know if you are depending it on cinema visitor numbers, or ratings, or... specially, when it comes to films like Lebowski and Terminal, I think people liking such films rather prefer it, to watch them at home to fully focus on them, while cinemas are more suitable for action films and similar.

Planes

I thought it was great. I don't quite understand why it was so negatively reviewed.

I think Kill Your Darlings was one of the best movies of 2013, but has hardly received the attention it deserves.

There were three movies that came to mind right away, I mostly read the thread to see if they were mentioned. Two were; Hanna and Dog Soldiers. The third wasn't; Sunshine. If you watch sci fi for the science, it'll drive you crazy. For everyone else, this is one of the most beautiful movies you will ever see.

I know, right?
