Next question:

What are the most misleading names for TV shows you have come across?

The Fast and the Furious

The fast part is obvious, but who's furious?

Hmm, I'm having trouble determining whether these are joke posts or not. A lot of these titles are not misleading at all.

There are no ghosts in this movie at all.

Well, it did say they were invisible...

Satan's Sadists - We never see Satan in this movie at all. All right, at the climax someone says "Thought you could get away from old Satan? Don't you know you can't get away from Satan?"

It's named after an old Roger Corman movie from the '50s and that one might make more sense.

What about "Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe"? He certainly does not achieve this impossible task though this is a serial.

Reminds me of when Elvira showed They Came from Beyond Space. "What the heck is beyond space? Parking lot, maybe?"

I have to admit I didn't quite understand the thread title until I saw this example :lmao:

I can't really think of that many titles that struck me as misleading while I was watching the film.

They named him Beethoven because he was banging on the piano at the time they were coming up with the names.

After Earth

What it was:
Will Smith & Son crash-land on Earth one thousand years after an environmental disaster forced everyone to leave Earth behind.

What I thought it was:
Um...don't think so hard on this one too.

The Hunger Games.

Why call it 'Hunger' Games? That suggests famine. I don't get it. . . :?
