The Hunger Games.

And I imagine the sequels as well when they come out.

Most films by Mel Brooks.

Blazing Saddles is a favorite of mine. Lots of the n-word in it, and it's funny because of HOW Mel Brooks deals with the issue of racism.

I doubt many directors have the cajones to do stuff like Mel Brooks did. I wonder if I showed some African-Americans Blazing Saddles, would they find it funny and appreciate how the topic is addressed or would they just get offended at face value.

You realize that Mel Brooks got more comedic mileage out of Hitler and the Nazis than any other comic I can think of right now.

The hunger games trilogy is in essence a remake of The Running Man.

^I wouldn't say their remakes. More like derivative works.

If Hollywood even thinks about screwing around with Videodrome, I will completely disconnect from reality, and go to the office of the Hollywood hacks with my "handgun." Long Live the New Flesh.

It's been pointed out a million times on the internet already, but here we go again: it's actually a rip on Battle Royale, right down to specific individual scenes. Scroll down to #6 in this article for a description.

I didn't know about Battle Royale. But I have to say the Running Man is the same as The Hunger Games trilogy. Suzanne Collins managed to get 3 book out of one old film (based on a story by Stephen King).

The Running Man: Convicts take part in violent tv show and fight to death, but when an invincible contestant (Arnie) joins with the resistance he overthrows those in power.

The hunger Games: citizens must take part in a violent tv show and fight to the death, but when a winner joins forces with the resistance they overthrow those in power.

Let's kill a couple of internet urban legends right now, shall we? Jerry Lewis' move "The Tears of a Clown" has been seen by only a select few over the years, it's locked up because of conflicting claims to various copyrights. The movie "Life is Beautiful" has nothing in common with it. That's pure rubbish ! ! Jerry's movie is about a clown in a death camp that leads children to the crematoria. Due to the scrambled wording of your last sentence I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but I have never heard of any documentary being made about it. (If that's what you're saying.)

Films that shouldn't be remade:

Back to the Future
Jaws
Jurassic Park
The Shining
Terminator 1 and 2
Star Wars
Kill Bill

I can't think of anymore other than the ones said earlier.

The 2010 True Grit and 2005 King Kong remakes were good but I don't think they shouldn't be remade again.

It's pretty safe to say The Last Starfighter.
Robert Preston (best known for The Music Man)
played his last film role as Centauri (the lovable rogue who
finds Alex Rogan).

But darn it, the Ko-Dan were better villains than the Klingons,
the Cylons (from both versions of Battlestar Galactica),
or any other race outside of (maybe) the Daleks.
