Rocky Horror Picture Show (mentioned earlier) is the ultimate cult classic.

One of my favorites is a funny horror flick, "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things."

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" is considered a cult film by some, a bonafide classic western by others... I really like it, however you want to label it :)

Oh, I remember wizards. I first saw it when I was around elleven or twelve years old. It was really bizarre. And I loved Donnie Darko. All the Monty Python films are pretty much favourites of mine. The only ones on your list that I've seen that really didn't do much for me were Plan 9 and the Godzilla movies. And I hated MST3000. But that's just me.
As for Akira, never seen it, but I think most anime films either have (or at least deserve) cult movie status.

Never seen Akira 8O 8O 8O
