Definitely. The networks have been treating viewers with contempt for decades, pouring on more and more commercials, fiddling the schedules to rig the ratings, and recently producing a flood of cheap crappy reality shows instead of paying actual writers to create quality drama and comedy. Now the internet has changed everything, and the networks are floundering as viewers turn to filesharing and DVDs for their entertainment needs.

Last night it only took me 15 minutes to acquire the latest South Park episode, and I'm up to date on most of my other favourite shows as well. Although to be fair, I always buy the DVD's when they become available. Artists deserve to receive payment for their commercial products.
