Oh man! I forgot to mention Basil from The Great Mouse Detective! It's so obvious! XD

On that note, I know it's not a movie, but the original Sherlock Holmes, too.
Pretty interesting article about Holmes and Asperger's (click here)

Sherlock Holmes definately!

Bernard Black from Black Books?

Ramona Quimby, for sure. I loved those books as a child.

I don't know if it's been pointed out already, but Sam Raimi/Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man is obviously autistic. This scene from Spider-Man 2 screams Asperger's syndrome:

Lack of motor coordination, social awkwardness, too much interest in a particular topic (in this case, science)... Spidey is the poster boy for aspies.

Oh... that's why all his characters seem to be Aspies... especially Dr. Raymond Stantz from Ghostbusters and Steven Mills from My Stepmother is an Alien

In a previous post, I had said that I didn't think fictional characters would have Asperger's traits, and I had said that I didn't think Spock or Data could have it because one was an alien and the other one was a robot, and that I didn't like the fact that people like us were being compared to Star Trek characters, but now I'm beginning to wonder if there really are characters that have Asperger-like traits, even if it's not specified. Here are a few:
Johnny Depp -- Benny and Joon, Sleepy Hollow, or any of his movies
Lisa Simpson
Anyone suspect Charlie Brown, Schroeder, or Linus? Especially since Linus speaks really well for a kid his age.
Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes Calvin also has an extensive vocabulary.
(I apologize to those who have already used these references.)

Abby for sure is an Aspie, in fact I can seriously relate to most of her traits, I would even go as far as saying that she reminds me of myself, she gets scared of dying of boredom, has strange intuitive feelings, and she always finds these weird patterns that are quite often overlooked. The other character I can strongly associate with is Ziva, I wonder, does she have Asperger's traits, or is she slightly Aspie, . She doesn't like people, and she speaks over 6 languages, was raised around men, she's not scared of men, and she's just not scared of anyone. She doesn't really seem to relate to people much, more like an observer, so she fits the Aspie spectrum.

About Ziva: I don't know. I think it's more due to her Mossad training than anything else. About Abby: I hadn't seen it that way.

About Abby: After seeing Cracked, I'm starting to think she may have Aspreger's after all, and she just has it hidden and "under control" in some way because she's extremely smart, and is surrounded by an extremely supportive environment. I can relate to a lot of her traits as well.

I don't know if anyone has posted this already but my NT mother suggested to me that
Dr Brennan from the crime show Bones could have AS.

She thought this because "she is brilliant in certain areas, but she is literal".

I'm sure I read somewhere that the writers did this intentionally, but didn't say so as they didn't want to alienate viewers.

I think it has not only been mentioned, but confirmed - she is based on an Aspie, and if I understand correctly, they are softly landing the "news" on the community. It has not been said out loud as not to "scare people" and because - if you do an Aspie "wrong", it can go very, very wrong :-) Now, I think Bones is a great example of an Aspie and I love how her coworkers seem to both understand and respect her "problems", so I wouldn't mind at all, if they went public with it :-D On the contrary, I'd be very happy.
Now, I live in Sweden, and don't follow the news and such much, so I don't know if they have "outed" dr Brennan already, but she is an Aspie :-)

Rei-yes.

Shinji-maybe.

Gendo-he's just a ******* to shinji just cuz he lost yui...

I've seen a Wikia on Eva, and Shinji does seem mildly Aspergian...oh, and that hikikomori off of Rozen Maiden may be either an Aspie or a jerk (forgot his name after a week from seeing episode 1).

Oh, and Linus and Schroeder. My mom says that I'm a Shroeder clone, and I'm an Aspie, too.

I loved the books as well and Ramona is somewhat of a poster child for AS. Fudge Hatcher from the Judy Bloom series always seemed aspie to me as well.

Cale from Titan A.E. always seemed aspieish to me as well.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned him yet, but Dwight Schrute from The Office has got to have Asperger's.

How about Gaz from Invader Zim? She's very anti-social and has limited interests that are restricted to playing video games and eating pizza. A lot of characters in the show are also afraid of her because she's "creepy" and she's humorlessly saracastic. And she's really smart and knows how to operate alien technology (as long as it's similar to a video game).

I think that whole family has AS. Dib with his obsession with the paranormal, Professor Membrane is so obsorbed with his job he can't even remember the names of his children. I know it's a cartoon but I can't help but wonder what Dib and Gaz's mom was like. Perhaps she left because she was an NT.
