The last three new films I've seen have been Slumdog Millionaire, Burn After Reading, and Wall-E.

Slumdog Millionaire - it really didn't deserve any awards. Plot is to basic, been used a million times already. Poor acting also

Yesterday I watched 21 on DVD and Pink Panther 2 in the cinema.

Both are great films, although I think Pink Panther 2 is not as good as the first one... Still good, just not as good as the original.

I recently watched My Blueberry Nights. Surprisingly good, given that it's Wong Kar-Wai's first English-language film, and Norah Jones managed to prove herself a better actress than Natalie Portman or Rachel Weisz. I still prefer his Hong Kong films, though.

Coraline in 3d.
Best movie I've seen in a while. The combination of 3d and stop motion was the most visually pleasing thing I've ever seen on the silver screen.

hmm...
inkheart-read the book in 8th grade was pretty interesting in seeing the movie. i saw it while watching my sister and her friends. i got my sister to read the book and her friends read it as well. all i can say is that if you ignore the whole plot of the book then it's not that bad of movie. seriously, what were they thinking? they made the villain bald! he was supposed to have long black and where all black. black, black!! so much more they messed up...gah!
ghost town-a surprisingly good film. i only watched it because of ricky gervais and greg kinnear. also, i like tea leoni. it was like ghost with some changes and the reluctant grump.
magnolia-a little contrived at times but overall it was good. my brother urged me to watch it. william h. macy and phillip seymour hoffman kept me intrigued.
band of outsiders-snagged this from my brother right after he bought it. i like old black and white french films. very awesome and well set up. anna karrina is a great actress.

Girl Gang from the mid-1950s. Timothy Farrell (whose main job was as a court-room bailliff) helpfully teaches the audience how to prepare heroin for injection... After his Umberto Scalli trilogy, Farrell's character was called "Joe" - though like Scalli, Joe liked to provide dope for so-called schoolkids... in 1949's Devil's Sleep, Farrell's Umberto Scalli character provided "bennies and goofies" for his kids... in Girl Gang, it's heroin... Scalli tended to stay away from the kids, directing the events through another kid who was his liaison with them... Joe preferred to deal directly with the kids...

"Push" was my most recent movie in theaters. I loved it!

"Hounddog" was my most recent movie on DVD. I had been waiting over two years to see it and I was so happy I finally got to! I really enjoyed it. 8)

Yeah, it just came out on the 17th! It's really hard to find though. I ended up renting it at Blockbuster and I'm strongly considering shelling out an extra $20 to own it. I'm the first person to view this particular disc anyway, so it'd be brand new. :)
